Week 4 MNF WrapUp – FTN x SuperDraft

Monday Night Football ended Week 4 with a Chargers’ victory as their offense was clicking on all cylinders and their defense was able to contain a hot Raiders’ offense to under 20 points.

Below are the results from my top three MNF plays on SuperDraft DFS.

Austin Ekeler, RB, Los Angeles Chargers (1.3x score multiplier)

Ekeler was the optimal champion play and highest-scoring player in this game, logging 117 rushing yards, three catches for 28 yards as well as a pair of total touchdowns. Amassing 28 fantasy points before his 30% multiplier.

Ekeler found holes on the ground throughout the entirety of the game, averaging nearly eight yards per carry and ripping off chunk yardage left and right, topped with a game-high 22-yard run. Finishing with 36.4 fantasy points after his 30% multiplier, Ekeler had a ceiling game and rewarded those that played him.

Keenan Allen, WR, Los Angeles Chargers (1.4x)

The wide receivers for the Chargers took a back seat to Ekeler and Jared Cook in this game, as Allen’s 36 receiving yards were the highest mark of any receiver on the Chargers’ side of this game. He logged a team-high 11 targets and caught seven of them, so the volume was a nice bonus compared to other receivers.

Still, he only totaled 7.1 fantasy points (9.94 after his 40% bonus). He was popular enough where rostering him didn’t absolutely kill you, but he certainly didn’t do anything to help your lineups win.

Henry Ruggs, WR, Las Vegas Raiders (2x)

While Ruggs wasn’t able to break the big play that we talked about aiming for in Monday’s writeup, he led the Raiders in receiving yards (60) and logged more yards than any other wide receiver in the entire game.

He caught three of six targets and, given his 2x bonus, was able to total 15 fantasy points (7.5 without his bonus), making him a nice target at what was a less popular roster percentage in many lobbies than I had anticipated.

Champion Rankings:

1. Austin Ekeler (54.6 champion points)

2. Keenan Allen (14.91)

3. Justin Herbert (31.92)

4. Darren Waller (24.7)

5. Mike Williams (2.8)
