There are 11 games on the NHL DFS slate Thursday, so there are plenty of strong options at SuperDraft. The slate gets underway at 7 p.m. ET. It’s more important than ever to keep an eye on news at this time of the season. We’ve seen several players get scratched late, so have a close eye on things. If you have any questions, reach out @chrismeaney.

Below, you’ll see a few of my top plays at each position followed by a few others to consider at SuperDraft. Most of my attention tonight will be on the Pittsburgh Penguins, Colorado Avalanche, New Jersey Devils and Tampa Bay Lightning. It’s really hard to ignore the Penguins, especially their top line, as they’ve combined for 18 points in their last two games.

Center

Patrice Bergeron, Boston Bruins @ PHI (1.45X score multiplier)

Bergeron picked up two assists Wednesday and has five points in his past six games. He has 27 shots on goal over that span and is in a good spot to put a few more pucks on net, as the Philadelphia Flyers rank inside the top 10 in shot attempts and shots allowed at 5v5/60 over the last month. Bergeron’s winger Brad Marchand had a hat trick last night and the duo are strong targets again.

Brayden Point, Tampa Bay Lightning vs. VAN (1.4X)

Point enters the game against the Vancouver Canucks with six goals and 11 points in eight games since returning to the lineup. His winger Nikita Kucherov has 75 points in his last 54 games, including five in three games since getting activated from IR. This is another strong duo to consider.

Others to consider: Sebastian Aho, Sidney Crosby, Vincent Trocheck (GPP), Matt Duchene, Mika Zibanejad

Winger

Andrei Svechnikov, Carolina Hurricanes vs. CBJ (1.35X)

Svechnikov had a goal, one assist and eight shots on net in Columbus Jan. 1. Now he’s at home against the Blue Jackets, who rank inside the top 10 in shot attempts, shots, scoring chances and high danger chances against at 5v5/60 since Dec. 1. The Hurricanes have the highest implied total out of all 22 teams. Sebastian Aho and Teuvo Teravainen are strong plays as well.

Jordan Kyrou, St. Louis Blues vs. SEA (2X)

We’re getting a 2X multiplier with Kyrou, who has five goals, 11 points and 19 shots over a current five-game point streak. He has three power play points over that span and a career high 11 in 32 games. Kyrou matched his career-high in goals in his last game with 14 and he passed last season’s career best 35 points with his 36th of the season. He’s playing a career-high 16:26 and he’s in for a bit more ice time as the Blues are shorthanded up front. The Kraken have allowed 4.7 goals per game since the pause.

Others to consider: Brad Marchand, Teuvo Teravainen, Patrick Kane, Nikita Kucherov, David Pastrnak, Alex DeBrincat, Matthew Tkachuk, Johnny Gaudreu, Jake Guentzel, Artemi Panarin

Defense

Tony DeAngelo, Carolina Hurricanes vs. CBJ (1.2X)

DeAngelo is in for a boost in ice time with Jaccob Slavin sidelined. DeAngelo has eight power play assists and he’ll continue to play on the first unit tonight. Carolina had seven goals in their last game against Columbus. He has a rock-solid six goals and 24 points in 26 games.

Others to consider: Roman Josi, Kris Letang, Adam Fox

Goalies to consider: Tristan Jarry, Juuse Saros, Jacob Markstrom
