The NFL Week 6 SuperDraft DFS slate is in the books, and while we had some strong plays, there were a few disappointing and non-productive players.
Let us review our Sunday plays and start preparing for Week 7.
Top Quarterbacks
Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams (1.25x)
What looked to be a slow start for Stafford and the Rams quickly turned around in the second quarter, when Stafford and company put up 28 unanswered points and put this game out of reach. He finished with 251 passing yards with four touchdowns.
Taylor Heinicke, Washington Football Team (1.55x)
A lot of people were on Taylor Heinicke as he got the chance to face the Kansas City Chiefs defense, but it got ugly by halftime. The only touchdown Heinicke threw was in the second quarter as he finished his day with 182 passing yards with one touchdown and one interception.
Top Running Backs
Kareem Hunt, Cleveland Browns (1.25x)
The Cleveland Browns struggled all day against the Arizona Cardinals, but things got scary in the fourth quarter when Hunt went down with a non-contact injury. With his day being called, he finished with 66 rushing yards and 12 receiving yards.
Devontae Booker, New York Giants (1.5x)
One of my favorite plays of the slate quickly went away when the game got out of control right before half. Devontae Booker still had a decent day but wasn’t able to find the end zone on the ground or through the air. He finished the day with just 41 rushing yards and 28 receiving yards off four receptions. Booker does look like he could carry momentum with him though if the offense can get rolling.
Top Wide Receivers
Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals (1.3x)
In our weekly top plays article, we covered how Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd could take away from Chase — but it wasn’t them, it was the running backs. While Chase did finish with 97 receiving yards on four receptions, Joe Mixon and Chris Evans both had receiving touchdowns.
Mike Williams, Los Angeles Chargers (1.4x)
It looked like the entire Los Angeles Chargers team took Sunday off, as the Baltimore Ravens dominated them 36-4. Justin Herbert was able to find the end zone once, but it was to tight end Jared Cook. Williams had just two receptions for 27 receiving yards. Williams is usually a tough receiver to keep in check, but Keenen Allen was the only one to hit 50 receiving yards Sunday.
Top Tight Ends
Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens (1.45x)
It was a rushing affair for the Baltimore Ravens, but Andrews was able to find the end zone during all of it. Andrews proved to be one of the top tight ends on the slate as he finished with 68 receiving yards and a score on five receptions. Andrews proved why the Los Angeles Chargers are a defense to pick on with tight ends.
Mo Alie-Cox, Indianapolis Colts (1.85x)
Alie-Cox wasn’t one of the most stunning performances Sunday, but with a 1.85x multiplier, he got the job done. He had one reception for 28 receiving yards, where he found the end zone. Similar to the Los Angeles Chargers, the Houston Texans are also a defense that struggles versus tight ends.
