The Miami Dolphins shut down the New Orleans Saints Monday night by a final margin of 20-3. New Orleans No. 4 quarterback Ian Book and the Saints could not get anything going to keep up with the Dolphins.

Below, we take a look at our top DFS recommendations for the game on SuperDraft and see who ended up being a top play.

Top Plays

Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins (Champion: 1.5x multiplier | Superflex: 1x Multiplier)

Tagovailoa was efficient enough to get the job done. He ended up completing 19 of his 26 passes for 198 yards and a touchdown. He didn’t add anything on the ground beside one rushing yard, and he had one interception to drop his score slightly.

Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins (Champion: 2.2x | Superflex: 1.45x)

Waddle was a monster Monday, the top play of the slate. He had 12 targets on the night, finishing with ten receptions for 92 receiving yards and one touchdown. The closest receiver on the Miami Dolphins side was Mack Hollins with one reception for 40 yards. Waddle didn’t skip a beat despite missing Week 15 on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, averaging 9.2 yards per reception.

Marquez Callaway, New Orleans Saints (Champion: 2.85x | Superflex: 1.9x)

Callaway was consistent once again even in the struggling New Orleans offense. While he wasn’t able to find the end zone, he tied for the most targets, with five on the night. He finished with four receptions for 46 receiving yards. With a consistent quarterback, Callaway could turn into a reliable weapon for this offense.

Best Plays of The Slate

We already covered Jaylen Waddle as he was the best play of the night. You could add Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders to the list as well. He was 2-for-4 on extra points and added on two field goals, including one for 48 yards. Besides those two Dolphins players, Lil’Jordan Humphrey of the New Orleans Saints almost found his way on the list. He had five targets on the night, catching three. He had 70 receiving yards but wasn’t able to find the end zone for the score. The entire Saints offense struggled all night, holding them back from making this a competitive game.
