Week 12 Super 15 Picks – FTN x SuperDraft

Week 12 of the NFL season is here, and that means that so is another Super 15 slate on SuperDraft DFS.

Similar to the posts you’ve seen on social media regarding building a roster based on a $15 budget and allotted players/prices, you can now integrate this game into DFS and go head-to-head with your competition.

Below are my top three options to build your Super 15 lineups around.

Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams ($4)

The current WR1 in all of fantasy football, Cooper Kupp steps into a Week 12 with a 47-point implied total and a tight 1.5-point spread in an NFC clash between powerhouses.

He’s topped 20 fantasy points in all but two weeks this season while logging at least 10 targets in every game except Week 8, where he still posted nine targets and 115 yards with a touchdown. While the Packers’ defense has certainly tightened the screws over the last three or four weeks, they can still be exploited in the passing game. Kupp is slated to line up opposite of Chandon Sullivan, giving him a matchup grade of 81.3 out of 100 against a corner that’s allowed a 71% catch rate on the season. Getting him at $4 instead of $5 is a value on this slate.

Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($3)

Dropping down one tier lower, Evans sets up as a receiver with some of the highest upside on the slate. Coming into Week 12, Evans has the highest average depth of target among Buccaneers receivers (13.74 yards) while leading the team in air yards (1,058) and touchdowns (10). If there’s any team that can get beat deep by Evans, it’s the Colts.

Through the first 11 weeks of the season, they’ve allowed the fifth-highest completion percentage on deep targets (48.7%) and rank in the bottom half of the league in yards on deep targets allowed and yards after the catch on deep throws. Evans is set to explode, making his $3 tag a value in Week 12.

Brandin Cooks, Houston Texans ($2)

Sticking with the theme of underpriced receivers, Brandin Cooks fits the mold in Week 12 against the Jets.

The matchup with the Jets doesn’t need to be broken down, as they’re arguably the biggest mess in football on both sides of the field. It’s Cooks’ role that makes him an elite option. Despite the shaky quarterback play and situation in Houston, Cooks ranks top-five in the NFL in target share (28.7%), top-four in air yard share (41.6%), and top-13 in total targets. Tyrod Taylor has taken some time to get his feet back under him, but he’s an upgrade over Davis Mills and it should begin to show in his production with Cooks. This is just the matchup to do so, making Cooks a salary-saving priority on the Super 15 slate.

Budget remaining after the core: $6
