As I do every Wednesday, I’m back to wrap up my MLB SuperDraft picks from the Tuesday slate, including my top two pitchers and some of my favorite hitters of the night.

In this article, I’ll be recapping what happened Tuesday and reviewing how the picks and plays did. It was a rather exciting night of games with plenty of runs and a few solid pitching options.

Let’s take a look at how we did.

Pitchers

Unfortunately, pitchers went quite wrong, as Carlos Rodón didn’t make it out of the third inning and Huascar Ynoa didn’t end up making the start. Hopefully, you were able to get to his replacement Charlie Morton, who did turn in a pretty solid performance. But that is why it’s important to check back and get confirmed starters before setting lineups.

Hitters

With the small slate and tough scoring environments across many of the games, using less stacking and more one-offs is more viable here in the playoffs than in the regular season, so that is likely a strategy I will employ more here.

Corey Seager was very solid, but nothing special. He had two hits in 5 ABs and scored twice, but no extra-base hits or RBIs, unfortunately.

As for Luis Robert, he did reach base on a single once, but they didn’t give him the chance to steal so he was held in check for the most part as well. Hitting was fairly scarce Tuesday unless you rostered the Astros, which I obviously did not, considering I liked Rodón.

Review

Overall, Tuesday was another tricky playoff slate. You have to pick your spots in postseason DFS, and when you are wrong like I was with Rodón. It is going to be difficult to catch up because that is going to mean you are likely off of a higher scoring team, and there aren’t typically several teams scoring 10-plus, so it is hard to make up that ground.
