Week 1 of the college football season is upon us, and the slate is filled with premier battles for your SuperDraft contests.

Key conference matchups featuring Penn State at Wisconsin, North Carolina at Virginia Tech, and Indiana at Iowa set the pace for the rest of the weekend. From Heisman Trophy hopeful Sam Howell’s (1.05X) debut Friday night to the slew of contenders waiting to the Heisman mix, Week 1 is incredibly important.

Of course, Miami at Alabama will look to steal the headlines Saturday afternoon. Can D’Eriq King (1.6X) pull off the massive upset just nine months after tearing his ACL? Or will Nick Saban continue to roll Tide against Miami? Either way, playing QB Bryce Young (1.2X), RB Brian Robinson (1.4X) and WR Jameson Williams (1.6X) would be wise investments into your roster.

There’s a slew of programs needing big debuts in order to justify their rankings and expectations as well. Cincinnati is a heavy favorite against Miami (OH), but they can’t afford to slip up. Failing to cover the lofty expectations could cost them dearly later in the year as they fight for the College Football Playoff. RB Jerome Ford (1.35X) and WR Alec Pierce (1.25X) should perform well for the Bearcats.

Texas A&M, USC, and LSU each have significant opportunities to prove themselves against quality foes as well. There’s no margin for error in Week 1, so slow starts could burn an entire season down in the blink of an eye. Which staff and program will thrive?

Two title favorites also collide as Georgia and Clemson battle Saturday. Both premier passers lead excellent programs onto the field, and one team will walk away in pole position for the remainder for the season. This could be the game of the year already and we’re just in Week 1.

Watch for Tigers star receiver Justyn Ross’ (1.4X) return to the field and consider taking him as a high-upside flier.

DFS stars like Spencer Rattler (1X), Marvin Mims (1.05X), CJ Verdell (1.4X), Jahan Dotson (1.2X), and Bijan Robinson (1X) headline deep arrays of plays. But also consider SuperDraft stars with multipliers like Jadon Haselwood (1.6X) and JaQuavious Marks (1.4X) as well.

Even the late games Saturday night feature potential offensive juggernauts that bring wonderful entertainment. We’ve missed college football dearly, and having Labor Day weekend to celebrate its return is perfectly timed.

As always, we have you covered for every slate, every weekend. We’ll project the top matchups and producers across the nation to help you profit in your SuperDraft league.
