SuperDraft has partnered with FTN, and I will be sharing my thoughts on the golf contests this week!

SuperDraft “multiplier” style doesn’t use the standard salary cap. Instead of a monetary value, it gives each golfer a multiplier.

You can use ANY six golfers from the field you want. There is absolutely no limit to your creativity on SuperDraft. However, you will be rewarded with higher multipliers the further down the player list you go. For instance, this week Justin Thomas has a 1x Multiplier and Jason Kokrak has a 1.35x multiplier. The multiplier means taking the regularly scored fantasy points, multiplying by the multiplier, and that’s the result. (EX: Kokrak scores 59 points, 59 * 1.35 = 79.65points)

So, before you go cramming in all the studs, you will definitely want to check out the rest of the field.

This week features a field of only 30 players. Without further delays, let’s dig in and see what we can find.

The three golfers who stand out the most for me are:

Cameron Smith 1.25x

Cameron Smith has a larger range of outcomes, but that is fine when chasing the top prize in contests.  We know he can win. His form and long-term skill have him rating inside the top three for me this week. He is firing on all cylinders across the four strokes gained categories and is potentially one very bad drive away from having won a FedEx playoff event as well.

Louis Oosthuizen 1.20x and Harris English 1.25x

Oosthuizen and English are in a similar boat.  Both should benefit from the emphasis on accuracy this week, but they are also plenty long enough to gain an advantage there over a portion of the field.  I imagine both will go a little overlooked, especially Oosthuizen, and hopefully we can capitalize on lower ownership AND the added multiplier that other golfers similar to him in talent aren’t getting.

The recent form for all three of these golfers is outstanding, and they’re getting their points multiplied while the rest of their surrounding competition is not. Based on my ratings, all three of these golfers are inside the top 8 in the field, but their multipliers would suggest otherwise.

As always, if you have any questions, please find me in the FTN Daily discord, and I’m happy to answer them as best as I can. Good luck, and enjoy this great new format.
