The Jazz went as ice cold as a team could possibly be in the first quarter of Game 1 vs the Clippers yet it did not matter. Mitchell went crazy for 45 points in the absence of Mike Conley. If Conley out again, it will be time for a Jazz role player to step up. Who will that be? Let’s dive into this single game slate!

Low-Multiplier Building Block
Donovan Mitchell (1.15x // 1.9x) – As was the case last night, we’ve got very tight projections towards the top of the player pool. Mitchell sits at the top, and is followed closely by a number of high-multiplier options that pose high upside but a low floor. Mitchell feels like the best high-upside/high-floor option on the slate, he should dominate the ball for Utah with Mike Conley out again for Game 2.
High-Multiplier Flyer
Jordan Clarkson, Bojan Bogdanovic (1.95x // 2.95x) – Both guys have the same multiplier, both figure to benefit significantly from the Conley injury. Conley’s absence should boost Bogdanovic’s usage during his usually strong workload, should boost Clarkson’s minutes which tend to be very high usage. Clarkson is a pure scorer with upside through his penchant for taking & making 3s, Bogdanovic has a little more balanced game and can add some extra value with rebounds & assists.
Fade Consideration
Joe Ingles (1.8x // 2.7x) – Ingles is probably has the weakest role per multiplier among secondary Jazz players. Boganovic should play more minutes than Ingles & has a higher usage offensive role, Clarkson should play fewer minutes but has a way more robust offensive role, and Royce O’Neale has a much higher multiplier than Ingles, should play more minutes, and offers more defensive upside.
