SuperDraft is one of the hottest platforms in the market for DFS players. SuperDraft offers a unique twist on your traditional DFS experience with game modes like “Multiplier” and “Super 15.”
This article will focus on daily plays from SuperDraft’s exclusive Multiplier game mode. By eliminating the traditional salary cap structure and providing a points multiplier for every player on the slate, there is almost limitless flexibility when building lineups on SuperDraft. You can load up on all the studs, but their point multipliers will be low. You can balance those plays out with some long shots that could score up to 2x their fantasy points to vault you to the top of the leaderboards.
As always with NBA DFS, make sure that you are on top of any late breaking injury news and starting lineup changes. With four games on tonight’s NBA slate, let’s get into some of the Multiplier plays on SuperDraft.
Guard
Devin Booker (1.15x)
Paul remains out which means Booker is still the alpha in the Suns offense. He’s been fantastic of late, averaging 54.5 SuperDraft points per game since the All-Star break (when Paul went out with his hand injury). Phoenix travels to the Big Easy tonight to take on the Pelicans, who have stumbled a bit over the last week in their bid to secure a play-in spot in the Western conference losing four of their last five games. A big part of that was the absences of both Brandon Ingram and CJ McCollum. The latter is back tonight from his stint in the health and safety protocols, which should help this game stay competitive (currently a 4.5-point spread in favor of the Suns). With full minutes expected from Booker, he’s my top option at guard tonight, with McCollum coming in as a close second when choosing a “spend up” guard.
Tyus Jones (2x)
Ja Morant is doubtful tonight with a back issue and didn’t participate in shootaround this morning. Morant sitting out against the lowly Pacers will open up multiple attractive fantasy options from the remaining Grizzlies, and Jones is the clear priority for me. One of the better back-up point guards in the league, Jones has averaged 12 points, 6 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game in the 14 games he’s played without Ja Morant this season. The matchup against the Pacers is great at every position, and Indiana has given up 119.7 points per game to their opponents over their last 20 games. Memphis are 7.5-point road favorites in the game with the highest total on the slate, Jones is a priority for me in both cash and GPPs.
Forward
Kevin Durant (1x)
K.D. has been on an absolute heater of late. He’s averaged 32 points per game over his last five, shooting 52% from the field and playing nearly 38 minutes per game. The Nets are 10.5-point favorites in Orlando, meaning that Kyrie will suit up. While Durant’s ceiling may not be quite as high as the 53 real-point performance we saw on Sunday with Irving sitting on the sidelines, he’s still the safest bet for 50 SuperDraft points. I obviously have no issue rostering him in tournaments any time he steps on the court, but I think there’s a good chance we can find higher upside with other choices at forward. That being said, Durant has scored 55 or more SuperDraft points in 6 of his last 11 games, so I wouldn’t fault anyone for overlooking my feelings about him in GPPs and slotting him in first at the position.
Jaren Jackson Jr. (1.4x)
A reminder that Morant is likely going to miss this game. Rostering Jackson Jr. on any slate is best described as a roller coaster. He’s one of the most foul prone players in the NBA and he’s on one of the deepest rosters in the league. But despite the minutes volatility, he’s always been a very productive fantasy asset from a fantasy points per minute standpoint. For example, over the last three games he’s averaged 1.29 SuperDraft points per minute and over the full season that number is 1.23 SuperDraft points per minute. In 13 games without Ja Morant this season Jackson Jr. has averaged 20 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 stocks (steals + blocks) in 27 minutes per game. At his 1.4x multiplier and forward eligibility, he’s one of my favorite GPP plays on this short four game slate and I’m fine pairing him with Tyus Jones.
Center
Andre Drummond (1.65x)
Not a lot of options that jump off the page at center on this four-game slate. When nobody stands above the rest, I tend to start sifting through the palatable options with higher multipliers and when doing so today Drummond comes up as my favorite option. The matchup against Orlando should bode well for his minutes security, and with Drummond minutes are the most important factor in his fantasy value. He’s always been an above average fantasy producer and has looked reinvigorated since the trade from Philadelphia at the deadline, averaging 1.29 SuperDraft points per minute since the regular season resumed post All-Star break. With elevated minutes looking likely in this game, I have interest in Drummond in tournaments, although I think I would shy away from pairing Drummond and Durant. Some other center-only options I would consider include DeAndre Ayton and Steven Adams.
