With the NBA back, every week I’ll be offering up my DFS picks on SuperDraft, and following that up the next day with a look back on how I did and what we can learn from the picks.

In this article, I’ll be recapping what happened Wednesday night and reviewing how the picks and plays did. It was a rather exciting night of games, so let’s take a look at how we did last night.

The Review

Nikola Jokic

Jokic was fine, as he scored 59 points, but it wasn’t the huge performance we were hoping for, especially since he didn’t have a multiplier. However, he was still one of the higher scorers on the slate. But Wednesday was a night of high-multiplier players paying off due to injury news.

Jrue Holiday

Holiday only became a better play after the article as Khris Middleton was also ruled out, he posted 77 SuperDraft points and was in the winning lineup. All said, can’t complain much about that as he was one of the top scores of the night so we will take that 100% of the time.

Trae Young

Young was not bad by any means, but he certainly wasn’t great, and again, Wednesday was a night where high-multiplier players absolutely crushed so it was a bit of a struggle for some of these low multiplier players to try and compete. For example, Alperen Sengun scored over 90 points thanks to a 1.85x multiplier, it simply just isn’t very likely that anyone with a low multiplier (or no multiplier) matches that.

Here was the winning lineup from Wednesday:

Jrue Holiday was our only real hit, but there was lots of news to adjust to so hopefully you all made some good swaps onto high multiplier players in good spots with players on their team ruled out, that really is the most important thing in NBA DFS and is even more important this year.
