We have a four-game main NBA DFS slate on SuperDraft Monday. Below, we’ll dive in and break down our three top plays of the slate.
DeMar DeRozan, SG, Chicago Bulls (1.05x score multiplier)
DeRozan is in a prime matchup against the Thunder. He has now logged back-to-back 30-point games and should be able to extend that streak Monday; the Thunder are one of the worst teams against guards, allowing them to average 22.5 points, 7.1 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game. On top of that, per the FTN Daily splits tool, without Lonzo Ball on the court, DeRozan sees a boost in usage, points and rebound.
Kevin Love, PF, Golden State Warriors (1.65x)
Love has been doing the best that he can off the bench, and it’s hard to not notice. He’s averaging 21.4 minutes, 13.8 points and 7.1 points per game. He’ll be facing the Knicks — per the FTN Daily advanced DvP tool, he’ll see a boost as a scorer. They are one of the better teams when defending against forwards, but they still allow them to flirt with a double-double. They give up 20.0 points and 10.9 rebounds per game. We’ve seen the recent play of the Knicks and they have struggled, losing three of their last five. Kevin Love and the Cleveland Cavaliers big men should feast against them.
Goga Bitadze, C, Indiana Pacers (1.5x)
The big man in Indiana, Bitadze will be getting another shot at starting. Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner look to be out once again. In their place, Bitadze has logged back-to-back 30-minute games. He secured his first double-double against Phoenix Saturday with 16 points and 11 rebounds. He barely missed the double-double by one rebound Thursday. At the 1.5x multiplier, it’s hard to pass up on him with the playtime he should receive against the New Orleans Pelicans. They currently allow opposing centers to average 23.1 points and 13.7 rebounds per game, messing with the double-double bonus once again.
