Week 18 of the NFL season has wrapped up, and we had a nice 11-game slate to break down. Let’s recap our top plays to see who succeeded and who didn’t.

Top Quarterbacks

Tyler Huntley, Baltimore Ravens (1.45x Score Multiplier)

The Baltimore Ravens closed out their regular season with a very poor performance. Tyler Huntley was the main factor, as he struggled throughout the game. Huntley completed just 16 of his 31 passing attempts, throwing for 141 yards. While he didn’t have any touchdowns, he threw two interceptions. Not only was the poor passing on display, but he also coughed up a fumble.

Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals (1.1x)

The NFC West was the center of the spotlight Sunday, as the Arizona Cardinals took on the Seattle Seahawks. Kyler Murray played as efficiently as he could in the loss to the Seahawks, but it wasn’t enough. He completed 28 of his 39 attempts while throwing for 240 yards and a touchdown. Murray added 35 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to get the win.

Top Running Backs

Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints (1.1x)

The New Orleans Saints had a heartbreaking day despite a victory, as the San Francisco 49ers stole the last NFC playoff spot with their dramatic overtime victory at the Los Angeles Rams. The key in the Saints’ win, though, was Alvin Kamara. He had 30 carries on the day and rushed for 146 yards. While he didn’t have a touchdown, he made sure their drives stayed alive to keep their defense off the field. In what was a difficult season for the Saints, they have much to look forward to the next season, as they continue to build a life without Drew Brees.

Rashaad Penny, Seattle Seahawks (1.2x)

Rashaad Penny finished the season on a very high note, as he almost put up over 200 rushing yards on Sunday. He has been a machine for the Seahawks, and it doesn’t seem anyone could stop him. Penny had 23 carries for 190 rushing yards and added one rushing touchdown. While Tyler Lockett stole the receiving show, Penny dominated the run game once again. The big question is, where will Penny end up next season? The Seahawks didn’t accept his fifth-year option.

Top Wide Receivers

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions (1.2x)

The closer of the year, please and thank you! Amon-Ra St. Brown put on a show versus the Green Bay Packers, as the Detroit Lions stole the victory 37-30. St. Brown finished with eight receptions, 109 receiving yards, and added another touchdown! The receiving group of the Lions was on point, as Kalif Raymond also broke 100 receiving yards while adding a touchdown.

Christian Kirk, Arizona Cardinals (1.4x)

Christian Kirk had an amazing matchup, but the targets weren’t there, as Zach Ertz led the way in that department. Kirk finished with three targets on the day and caught just two for 43 receiving yards, He was basically at the bottom of the barrel, as only Greg Dortch and Jonathan Ward had fewer targets than him.

Top Tight Ends

Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens (1x)

The consistent play from Mark Andrews continued while the Baltimore Ravens struggled Sunday. With 16 targets, Andrews reeled in eight receptions for 85 yards. Andrews wasn’t able to find the end zone for a second consecutive week, however.

Zach Ertz, Arizona Cardinals (1.35x)

The Arizona Cardinals and Zach Ertz have gone together better than anyone could imagine. He led the offense in targets with 10 and caught seven of them. James Conner was the only Cardinal with touchdowns, but Ertz led the group by 40 receiving yards and finished with 84 on the afternoon.

Top Plays

With such a large slate, there were many players to look at for the top plays of the slate. Starting with the Seattle Seahawks, Rashaad Penny rushed for 190 yards and a touchdown, but Tyler Lockett showed up also. Finishing just two yards shy of the 100 receiving yard bonus, Lockett had 98 yards on five receptions with two touchdowns. Adding another running back at low ownership, Miami Dolphins’ Duke Johnson had a huge day! He carried the ball 25 times for 117 rushing yards with one touchdown in their victory over the New England Patriots.
