Week 6’s Monday Night Football game offers us a matchup between two high-powered offenses, as the Bills and Titans will battle it out in what should be a high-scoring affair. As always on the primetime NFL slates, I will provide my picks as to how I am constructing my SuperDraft DFS lineups on the single-game slate.
Top Plays
Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills (1.1x score multiplier)
Single-game slates force you to change your process a bit and target players with lower multipliers. This is because there are fewer players with massive ceilings on the slate. While this applies to Allen, it’s also fair to say that a 10% multiplier for his score is also rather generous.
Allen has shown his ceiling over the last few weeks. He has topped 35 fantasy points in two of his last three against secondaries that are comparably as bad as the Titans secondary this season. Additionally, he has a total of nine passing touchdowns over his last three games. He should be able to continue his stretch against a secondary that’s allowing the fifth-most yards per attempt (8.36) in the league. With his ability to score on the ground and you have the highest upside player on the slate.
Julio Jones, WR, Tennessee Titans (1.55x)
Jones has certainly been a disappointment since coming over from the Falcons. With him being back and his counterpart, A.J. Brown, banged up and questionable, Jones is in a position to potentially see an uptick in volume. The Bills will likely be leading the majority of the game, providing plenty of pass opportunity for Jones.
A matchup with Tre’Davious White is never one to actively target, but he’s still allowed a 61% catch rate this season, giving some room for upside if Jones sees the 10-ish targets that we want. The 55% score multiplier also bodes well for a red-zone threat like Jones, who has already amassed a trio of red-zone targets this season despite missing a game along the way.
Dawson Knox, TE, Buffalo Bills (2.1x)
Speaking of red-zone targets, Knox has been a key cog for the Bills offense in this area of the field, as he’s already seen eight red-zone targets with three of them converting for touchdowns. He trails only Stefon Diggs in the red-zone target share (29.27% to 19.51%) despite ranking fourth on the team in overall target share (13.41%) and has provided some life to the wasteland of the tight end position.
Against a secondary that has shown the tendency to bleed production, his 110% scoring bonus should do wonders for Knox’s newfound role in this offense, especially in the red zone, as a touchdown alone grants him 12.6 points without including any reception bonus or yardage.
