The Week 11 NFL SuperDraft slate is in the books, and while we had some strong plays, there were also a few disappointing and non-productive players.
Let’s review our Sunday plays and start preparing for Week 12 of the NFL.
Quarterbacks
Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers (1.45x score multiplier)
Newton had his first start back under center for the Carolina Panthers spoiled by the Washington Football Team, but he did not disappoint for fantasy. Newton finished the game with 189 passing yards with two passing touchdowns. He also added 46 rushing yards with a rushing score. That was plenty productive for fantasy purposes.
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys (1.1x)
On the wrong side of the game, Prescott did not look like the potential NFL MVP Sunday. He threw for 216 yards on 28 completions, 43 attempts. He was not able to throw a touchdown, but he found the Kansas City Chiefs defenders, as he threw for two interceptions.
Running Backs
Nick Chubb, Cleveland Browns (1.15x)
Chubb was cleared off of the Reserve/COVID-19 List and returned to action with 22 carries and 130 rushing yards. He was unable to find the end zone on the ground but did find it on the receiving end, with 14 yards and a score on 2 receptions. It was not a high-scoring offensive day for the Cleveland Browns — Chubb had their only touchdown on the offensive side of the ball, while Denzel Ward had a touchdown on the defensive side.
James Conner, Arizona Cardinals (1.3x)
The Cardinals defeated the Seattle Seahawks, and Conner provided some assistance once again. He carried the ball 21 times for 62 rushing yards with one touchdown. He did add on five receptions for 37 receiving yards. He was able to contribute, but as we’ll see in our tight end plays, Zach Ertz was the main focus point Sunday.
Wide Receivers
Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers (1.2x)
Samuel is normally a top end-wide receiver, but he was the 49ers’ top option on the ground Sunday. Samuel only had one reception for 15 yards but was able to do a ton of damage as a runner, rushing eight times for 79 yards and one touchdown. Jeff Wilson Jr. did lead the team in carries but was quickly outshined by Samuel early on, and Kyle Shanahan did not shy away from utilizing one of the top wide receivers this season as a running back.
DJ Moore, Carolina Panthers (1.25x)
With the return of Cam Newton under center, the attention to Moore should increase. He finished with 50 receiving yards on five receptions and scored. I would say I expected Moore to get closer to 100 receiving yards, but seeing this Panthers offense flow better was nice.
Tight Ends
George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers (1.35x)
The San Francisco 49ers are turning into the Deebo Show, but Kittle has now scored in three straight weeks. He finished Sunday with four receptions for 34 receiving yards with one touchdown. He had a 1.35x multiplier in this one, but with the offense surrounding Samuel, we could see a similar or even higher multiplier for Kittle in weeks to come.
Zach Ertz, Arizona Cardinals (1.7x)
Colt McCoy showed up with Kyler Murray ruled out once again, and Ertz was one of his favorites against the Seahawks. Ertz had eight receptions, the second most in the game, with 88 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also found the end zone twice, his second and third scores as a Cardinal.
