With the NBA back, every week I’ll be offering up my DFS picks on SuperDraft, and following that up the next day with a look back on how I did and what we can learn from the picks.

Kristaps Porzingis and Jalen Brunson, Dallas Mavericks

Both Brunson and Porzingis were awesome. They each accounted for 60-plus points in Luka Doncic’s absence and were both found in the winning lineup on the main contest.

Tyler Herro, Miami Heat

Herro got off to a very slow start, only accounting for 4 SuperDraft points in his first 13 minutes on the court, but he turned it around in the second half and salvaged a 46-point performance, and he was also found in the winning lineup.

Anthony Edwards, Minnesota Timberwolves

Unfortunately, Edwards stopped our streak of strong plays, he only scored 10 points in the first half, and although he was able to finish the game with 26 real points, his lack of peripherals really held him back from a top performance.

Here was the winning lineup from last night:

  • Tyler Herro (1.5x multiplier — 46.1 points)
  • Jalen Brunson (1.6x — 65.2)
  • Talen Horton-Tucker (1.65x — 88.2)
  • Jimmy Butler (1.15x — 71.3)
  • DeMar DeRozan (1.25x — 48.75)
  • Giannis Antetekounmpo (1 — 66.25)
  • Kristaps Porzingis (1.35x — 68.1)

Overall, the scoring was not too high, so you were able to get away with someone like Tyler Herro in your lineups, but two top picks Kristaps Porzingis and Jalen Brunson really helped us along to strong nights.
