As I do every Wednesday, I’m back to wrap up my MLB SuperDraft picks from the Tuesday slate, including my top two pitchers and some of my favorite hitters of the night.

In this article, I’ll be recapping what happened Tuesday and reviewing how the picks and plays did. It was a rather exciting night of games with plenty of runs and a few solid pitching options.

Let’s take a look at how we did.

Pitchers

Well, it was easily the worst night I have had since doing these articles. Neither pitcher made it to 65 pitches, and Brady Singer left the game before the first inning even ended with an injury. Going backward with your pitchers is always brutal but even more so when the multiplier doubles how much they lose.

Hitters

Hitters were fairly solid. Luis Robert was a stud once again as he hit two HRs and accounted for 57.6 points. Lane Thomas produced 9.25 while Byron Buxton did what we expected, as he got on base twice, stole a base, and scored a run en route to a 16.8-point performance.

Breakdown

Overall, the pitchers really blew up the night, and despite having a solid core of hitters who combined for 80-plus points between three players, the two pitchers I listed combined for a whopping -2, that kind of performance will never get it done no matter how well your bats perform.
