Brandon Woodruff takes the mound for the Milwaukee Brewers

As I do every Wednesday, I’m back to wrap up my MLB SuperDraft picks from the Tuesday slate, including my top two pitchers and some of my favorite hitters of the night.

In this article, I’ll be recapping what happened Tuesday and reviewing how the picks and plays did. It was a rather exciting night of games with plenty of runs and a few solid pitching options.

Let’s take a look at how we did.

Pitchers

We got some solid performances from our pitchers as Brandon Woodruff and Jordan Montgomery were the top two scoring pitchers on the board Tuesday night, going for 47.02 and 46.62, respectively. So overall, I can’t complain as we got exactly what we had hoped for out of those two guys — Woodruff wasn’t able to get the win but made up for it with 10 Ks.

Hitters

The Dodgers stack was a rather big letdown as they only produced 5 runs on the night, and of the players I highlighted, none even cracked double-digits. Cedric Mullins was also fairly average on the night, as he only produced 9.9 points, but he did have a two-hit night including a double.

Breakdown

Overall, the pitchers made up for an extremely disappointing night from the hitter selections. This kind of slate goes to show how much game theory should be playing a factor in your lineup making decisions, as the Dodgers soaked up massive amounts of ownership, and if you were able to get off them, you found yourself with a massive advantage against the field.
