The league is full of star wide receivers putting up big numbers. Almost every team across the league has one name that stands out above the rest. Be it for their play, antics on or off the field, or an infectious personality (good or bad). These athletes garner the attention of others and their stats are well known.

Take another look across the league and you will see plenty of wide receiver sleepers that go under the radar. These sleepers don’t garner too much attention. Instead, they present a low floor high ceiling options for your fantasy lineups. Let’s check out a handful of the wr sleepers across the NFL.

Top WR Sleepers in 2021

Tim Patrick – Denver Broncos

Patrick enters this season with either Teddy Bridgewater or Drew Lock leading the offense. While neither is considered an “elite” quarterback, either of them should be solid enough to allow Patrick to flourish. Patrick’s counterpart, Courtland Sutton, is returning to the team this year after an ACL tear sidelined him. While this may present alternate targets for Lock or Bridgewater, Patrick remains a solid option.

In 2020, he reeled in 51 receptions and six touchdowns and was top three in receiving yards and catches for the Broncos last season. Given the solid quarterback play and the weapons Denver has, Patrick will be one of the best wr sleepers in fantasy football in 2021.

Marquez Valdez-Scantling – Green Bay Packers

Marquez Valdez-Scantling is the 2nd option in the Packers offense behind one of the top receivers in the NFL. In 2020, MVS still managed to haul in 33 receptions, 690 yards, 6 touchdowns, and a 52.4% catch rate, each of which was a personal best for the 3rd year receiver.

2021 looks to be no different. With Green Bay returning Aaron Rodgers, Devonte Adams, Aaron Jones, and Robert Tonyan, there is absolutely no shortage of offensive firepower for the Packers to choose from. All of that considered, we’re expecting MVS to continue his progression over the last three seasons and be one of the best fantasy football sleeper receiver.

Denzel Mims – New York Jets

Believe it or not, yes, someone from the Jets. Despite their recent…. Blunders… There is some upside for the Jets offense going into the 2021 season.

Mims, who missed the first 6 weeks of the 2020 season, now has a new head coach, a new offensive style, a veteran partner in Corey Davis, and a talented young quarterback in Zach Wilson who is looking to develop a solid relationship with his teammates for the foreseeable future. Mims will have a high multiplier and the potential for a great value on SuperDraft.

Breshad Perriman – Detroit Lions

This veteran wide-out looks to establish himself on his new team in Detroit. The torch has been passed, after 12 seasons with the Lions, Matt Stafford along with many others, finally departed this off-season.

The new quarterback, 2x Pro-Bowler Jared Goff, comes into a “rebuilding” stage of the Lions era. Aside from TJ Hockenson, they do not have many offensive threats which should provide Perriman with plenty of opportunities. A SuperDraft high multiplier guy, with a good week he may just win you some big money if you choose to roster him in 2021.

Darius Slayton – New York Giants

Entering his 3rd season, Slayton lines up with a solid offensive unit that features big guns like Saquan Barkley and Kenny Galloday. After a mediocre 2020 season, Slayton is looking to improve on his 2019 rookie season numbers where he tallied 8 touchdowns, 740 yards, 15.4 yards per reception, and 48 receptions.

Daniel Jones pilots this offense and has proven he doesn’t mind slinging pigskin around. In his 2 seasons, he has averaged 453 passing attempts which should directly benefit Slayton, even with the arrival of Galloday and the return of Shepherd. He is worth watching this season.

Conclusion

These wr sleepers provide plenty of upside in the 2021 NFL Season. Keep your eyes on the SuperDraft NFL lobby for the Week 1 NFL contests. You can check out the multipliers for the stars and the sleepers at the wide receiver position, draft your lineup, and have fun playing daily fantasy football on SuperDraft.
