We had a seven-game NBA DFS slate Thursday. Let’s take a look at how our SuperDraft picks fared across the slate and who had the biggest performances.
Ja Morant, PG, Memphis Grizzlies (1.1x score multiplier)
Morant struggled as a shooter against the Pistons. He went 7-of-17 from the field and went 2-of-8 from the three-point line. He finished with 23 points, six assists and four rebounds. It wasn’t the night we expected for Morant even though the matchup was a good one for him.
Andrew Wiggins, SF, Golden State Warriors (1.45x)
The Warriors dropped another game as they lost to the New York Knicks 116-114. Wiggins had an efficient night, though. He went 6-of-13 from the field while going 2-of-4 from the three-point line. He finished with 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists. He added some defensive stats also with one block and one steal.
Gary Trent Jr., SG, Toronto Raptors (1.4x)
What a night for Trent as he went off for a career high. The news of Fred VanVleet being ruled out only bumped up Trent’s stock. In 37 minutes, he scored 42 points with four assists and one rebound. On top of that, he had five steals on the defensive end. He was only 25.5% owned and went off for 91.35 SuperDraft points. He crushed his 1.4x multiplier.
Best Plays of The Slate
Gary Trent Jr. was the top play of the night easily, but he was followed closely by two other players. Luka Doncic also went off for a career high, putting up 51 points. He added on nine rebounds and six assists. He did come in highly rostered at 69.5% but finished with 73.75 SuperDraft points. Julius Randle kept his hot hand going against the Golden State Warriors. He put up a huge double-double with 28 points and 16 rebounds. He also added on seven assists and one block. He finished with 76.25 SuperDraft points and at 33.3% rostership.
