The NFL Divisional Round is officially here, and that means that so is another Super 15 slate on SuperDraft DFS.
Similar to the posts you’ve seen on social media regarding building a roster based on a $15 budget and allotted players/prices, you can now integrate this game into DFS and go head-to-head with your competition.
Below are my top three options to build your Super 15 lineups around for the Divisional Round slate.
Davante Adams, WR, Green Bay Packers ($4)
Cooper Kupp has been the receiver who has taken the NFL by storm this season, but it’s Davante Adams who continues to establish himself as the best wideout in football when the games truly matter.
There has only been one playoff game since 2015 where Adams saw fewer than 10 targets, averaging 11.75 targets per game in the postseason over the last two seasons, more specifically. Over that span, he’s averaged 8.75 catches, 107.75 yards and a touchdown per game. The Niners’ defense has held its own this season, but the secondary continues to be the point of attack. During the regular season, they allowed the third-highest adjusted completion percentage (77.50%) and ranked in the bottom half of the league in yards per attempt allowed (7.11) and only logged nine takeaways through 17 games. If they continue to allow production, Aaron Rodgers and Adams are going to have a field day. Take the $1 discount off Kupp and take your chances on old reliable Adams.
Elijah Mitchell, RB, San Francisco 49ers ($2)
Sticking in the same game, Mitchell is slated for another large workload in the Divisional Round. His 28 touches in the Wild Card game against the Cowboys (85 total yards and a touchdown) mirrored what we saw when he was on the field in the regular season. In his 11 active games this season, Mitchell logged at least 19 touches in seven while logging at least 18 touches in nine of his 11 games. As FTN’s Derek Brown noted in his game-by-game breakdown this week:
“Since Week 14, the Packers are 32nd in explosive run rate and (non-quarterback) yards before contact allowed.”
With only four total games on the slate, taking advantage of safe volume in a suddenly elite matchup is something to prioritize, especially at only $2 on the Super 15 slate.
Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Los Angeles Rams ($1)
With most of the attention on Cooper Kupp in the $5 tier, Odell Beckham becomes a very reliable $1 option as some inexpensive leverage off the stud wideout.
While he only saw four targets last game, he logged his first career postseason score and posted a respectable 4/54/1 line. Understanding that you won’t get the volume you do with Kupp, you’re getting the No. 2 option in the offense for the minimum price who continues to acclimate more and more to the offense on a weekly basis. In a game that’s going to require a lot of scoring to win, Beckham is my favorite dollar-priced option on the slate.
