Week 14 of the NFL season is here. We get an 11-game main DFS slate Sunday. Let’s dive in and see who will be the best plays at every position on SuperDraft.
Quarterbacks
Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs (1x score multiplier)
Mahomes comes in on the slate with the lowest multiplier as he faces the Las Vegas Raiders. The high-powered offense of the Kansas City Chiefs are in line for a great matchup. The Chiefs had a shaky start to the season but have turned things around as of late. These two teams just met in Week 10, when Patrick Mahomes — who has otherwise been in a slump lately — threw for 406 yards with 5 touchdowns. On a streak of five straight wins, the Chiefs are looking to extend that streak as playoffs are getting close.
Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers (1.2x)
Herbert and the Chargers will play host to the New York Giants Sunday. The Giants currently are giving up 20.2 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks and now have to try and stop the hot hand of Herbert. He has now thrown for 300 or more yards and multiple touchdowns three weeks in a row. This will be a game to pair him with Jared Cook, as the Chargers will be without Keenan Allen and potentially Mike Williams (though he looks increasingly likely to play) due to COVID-19 protocols.
Running Backs
Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints (1x)
Alvin Kamara is expected to return from injury Sunday, while Mark Ingram is out due with COVID-19. It’s also the best week for Kamara to return as he’ll be running against a bad New York Jets defense. The Jets are currently giving up the most fantasy points to running backs, allowing 33.2 fantasy points per game. Before going out with an injury, Kamara has led the backfield in carries and in targets. They expect him to have a full workload going into this matchup.
Javonte Williams, Denver Broncos (1.3x)
Melvin Gordon is expected to return in this one, but he could be at less than full strength, and either way, Williams showed enough last week to earn a bigger role. He will be facing the Detroit Lions, who have allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing running backs at 25.9 per game. Getting his first start of the season in Week 13, Williams had 23 carries for 102 yards and adding on a receiving touchdown. He has back-to-back games with scores and should be able to add a third straight game against this horrible Lions defense.
Wide Receivers
Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs (1x)
I love the Kansas City Chiefs stack this week, although the rostership is going to be heavy. Hill is coming off of a surprising low performance, but the man has been a monster this season. He was a prime target in the Week 10 matchup against the Raiders with 10 targets. He finished that game with seven receptions for 83 receiving yards and two touchdowns. On the season, Hill has been targeted the most by Patrick Mahomes in nine of their 12 games. With Travis Kelce a close second, any Chiefs stack needs to have Hill or Kelce.
Hunter Renfrow, Las Vegas Raiders (1.4x)
Here’s another high-targeted option from the Raiders/Chiefs game. Renfrow is averaging six receptions and 63.3 yards per game and has already set career highs in receptions, targets and yards, and his next touchdown will be his high there as well. He has now put together back-to-back hundred-yard receiving games as well. Everyone was on the Raiders as chalk in Week 13, but with them facing the Kansas City Chiefs this week, DFS players will likely be on the opposite side.
Tight Ends
Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs (1.x)
Like Hill, Kelce is coming off a less-productive game than his norm, with just three receptions for 27 yards against Denver. He has a great matchup Sunday, though. The Raiders are allowing the second-most points to the tight end position at 14.8 per game. Kelce made it known in Week 10 how bad they are. He had 10 targets, catching eight for 119 receiving yards. Kelce is second on the Chiefs in targets behind Hill — as I mentioned above, it’s one or the other in the Chiefs stacks.
George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers (1.2x)
This play is going to depend on Deebo Samuel, as he is currently questioned. If he is out, I’ll up my Kittle exposure. In Week 13, with Deebo out, Kittle had 12 targets and had nine receptions for 181 yards and two touchdowns. Since his return from injury, he has recorded five touchdowns in five games after going scoreless in the first half of the season.
