The Week 9 Monday Night Football game snoozed for three quarters then turned up in the final one as the Pittsburgh Steelers edged the Chicago Bears, 29-27. The 39-point total looked like it would stay “under” until the two teams combined for 30 points in final quarter.
Below are my top three plays for the Week 9 MNF game on SuperDraft and how they ended up performing:
Top Plays
Najee Harris, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers (1x score multiplier)
Harris surpassed 20 rush attempts yet again but was inefficient, running at a 2.8 yards-per clip for 62 rushing yards. He caught three balls for 16 receiving yards and ran one in for the fifth consecutive game. Alas, it wasn’t quite what we were expecting, as Harris finished with just 15.3 points at his 1x multiplier (22.95 as 1.5x Champion). Harris came in at just 21.3% rostered in the $20-entry NFL Hail Mary and was not on the $6,000 winning lineup.
Diontae Johnson, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers (1.3x)
A rare poor outing for Johnson, who had averaged seven receptions on nearly 12 targets over his last three games. Johnson did lead the Steelers in receiving yards (56) but did not crack optimal lineup builds with his measly 11.96 points. Johnson was heavily utilized by the field coming in at 48.5% rostered in the Hail Mary.
Allen Robinson, WR, Chicago Bears (1.7x)
This was Robinson’s best outing since Week 2 with his 4-68-0 line on six targets. He caught a 39-yard deep shot from Justin Fields late in the fourth quarter that accounted for a good chunk of his 14.96 fantasy points at just 17.3% in the Hail Mary. Wideout teammate Darnell Mooney was once again the superior option at a similar (1.75x) multiplier. Though Mooney managed just 41 yards through the air, he did score twice (one on a 15-yard running play).
