Everyone knows the what headline is in this game. It is Kyrie Irving’s first time playing in Boston as a member of Brooklyn Nets with an arena full of Celtics fans. The reception he will receive and how he handles it will be fascinating to watch. It will also be interesting to see who emerges as the DFS stars from this game… let’s discuss that!

Low-Multiplier Building Block

Kevin Durant (1.05x // 1.6x) – Durant has the clear best offensive role among the Brooklyn Big 3 – he is taking the most shots, his scoring is very 3-point oriented. Harden covers some ground as a distributor, but has a lower multiplier. On top of the superior offensive option, Durant has the most defensive upside among himself, Kyrie, and Harden. Tatum makes a strong case as a low-multiplier building-block too.

High-Multiplier Flyer

Tristan Thompson (2.35x // 3.55x) –  Thompson isn’t the flashiest of plays, he’s a veteran who doesn’t produce many highlight reel plays. But he should be on the court plenty, he’s got an exceptional 2.35x multiplier, and due to his low-profile, he might go under-owned. He’s a great rebounder but has an inconsistent offensive role. He’s got decent double-double equity, if things go right for TT, you could be rewarded handsomely.

Fade Consideration

Bruce Brown (2.05x // 3.05x) – Brown has been a great role player for Brooklyn this season. But with with the Big 3 in full effect, Brown’s minutes have been squeezed a good bit through the first two games, he can be projected for much more than 20 or so minutes. At 2.05x, there are simply other players who can be confidently projected to receive more minutes and/or produce better per-minute efficiency at similar multiplier levels.
