Low-Multiplier Building Block

Anthony Davis (1.2x // 1.8x) – LeBron is back, but we’re not fully convinced this is a bad thing for AD. Yes, Davis’ offensive usage will shrink a bit, but in games that LeBron has been out, Davis’ per-minute efficiency has taken a 0.13 fantasy point dip (that adds up if AD plays 35+ minutes). In general the pricing seems to be a bit softer on the Golden State side, however it is a pace up spot for the Lakers (LA plays slow, Golden State plays fast, if they meet in the middle the game will be faster than norm for LA, slower than norm for GS). No sales pitch is needed for AD, he can score, he can rebound, he can defend. And he has the highest multiplier among LeBron, himself, and Steph.

High-Multiplier Flyer

Kent Bazemore (2.65x // 4x) – Oubre & Damion Lee continue to be out, Kent Bazemore continues to be projectable for about 30 minutes per game. Bazemore isn’t a high-usage player, but he’s a non-zero in the assists & rebounds category, he takes & makes threes, and has good steal equity.

Player to Fade

Kyle Kuzma (2.05x // 3.05x) – With Anthony Davis & LeBron James expected to play tonight, Kuzma figures to have a diminished role. When the with/without any of LeBron/Davis splits for Kuzma are -2.15% usage, -4.05 minutes per game, -4.82 fantasy points per game when both of LeBron/Davis are active. Also consider that Dennis Schroder is he doesn’t figure to take minutes from Kuzma but could absorb some Kuzma shots.
